Global-MINDS is the Erasmus Mundus Master in the Psychology of Global Mobility, Inclusion, and Diversity in Society. Erasmus Mundus Global MINDS Scholarship is an English-language master’s degree program co-funded by the European Union for students with a Psychology Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. It focuses on international psychology studies and is designed for students with a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in psychology. The Erasmus Mundus Global MINDS Scholarship is designed to deliver high-quality international training in scientific knowledge and practical skills in social and cultural psychology. Students gain practical and intercultural experience by studying at least two partner universities, following a structured mobility path, completing a 300-hour internship, and writing a research-based thesis. These features make this master’s program in Social and Cultural Psychology unique globally.

The two-year Erasmus Mundus Global MINDS Scholarship includes:

A final semester dedicated to completing and defending the thesis. First Year: Two semesters of full-time coursework at two different universities. Second Year: A semester-long internship with an organization arranged by the partner university. A final semester dedicated to completing and defending the thesis.

Application Period:

1st application period (Erasmus Mundus scholarship & self-funded students): October 10th, 2024 – January, 10th, 2025.

2nd application period for self-funded students (if places are still free): February 10th – April 10th, 2025.

The Global MINDS program is supported by the European Union through the Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters (EMJM) initiative. Each cohort offers two types of scholarships.

10 Full Scholarships: Cover participation costs and provide:

  • A €2,400 pre-payment in August before the first semester (to help with travel and initial expenses).
  • A monthly stipend of €1,300 for 24 months.

15 Partial Scholarships: Cover participation costs but do not include additional financial support

  • Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent by the time the program starts.
  • A minimum of 100 ECTS or equivalent experience in psychology and research methods.
  • If the applicant has not completed their undergraduate degree by the application deadline, they must provide proof of enrollment, transcripts, and a statement from their university with the expected graduation date (including original and certified English translations if necessary)
  • In this case, if the applicant is accepted, this will be conditional on the submission of a 1st cycle degree diploma before enrolment.
  • Proficiency in English, as the program is taught in English
  • Qualification transcripts and certificates* (undergraduate diploma with transcripts and translation to English if needed– merged into one file)

The estimated monthly living expenses for students studying under the Erasmus Mundus Global MINDS program vary by country:

  • Ireland: €1,000–€1,500
  • Portugal: €700–€1,000
  • Poland: €600–€800
  • Norway: €1,200–€1,800
