Eligibilities of GKS-Global Korea Scholarship for Graduate Degrees
Nationality:

- Applicants completing the IRTS Korean language program by August 2025 are eligible.
- Must have TOPIK or TOPIK IBT Level 3 or higher.
- Accepted certificates: TOPIK (87th–100th exams) or TOPIK IBT (1st–7th exams).
- Applicants without a valid TOPIK certificate at the time of application can still apply.
Restriction
- Graduates (or expected graduates) from Korean high schools, international schools, or universities are ineligible.
- Previous recipients of Korean government scholarships cannot apply.
- Past GKS candidates from the last three years who withdrew or were disqualified before enrollment are ineligible.
Others:
- If a GKS scholar withdraws within 3 months of enrollment, they must repay the full scholarship amount received.
