The Slovakia Scholarships for Talented Students 2025–26 offer a golden opportunity to pursue higher education in one of Central Europe’s most affordable and culturally rich countries.
The Ministry of Education, Research, Development and Youth of the Slovak Republic has launched the application process for a scholarship scheme designed for talented students from abroad. The Slovakia Scholarships for Talented Students is intended for international students who wish to study full-time in Slovakia at the bachelor’s, combined bachelor’s and master’s, or master’s level in selected study programmes aligned with the Smart Specialisation Strategy of the Slovak Republic. The application deadline is 31 July 2025, 23:59 CET.

Eligibility Criteria for Slovakia Scholarships for Talented Students
To apply for the scholarship, students must:
- Must be a non-Slovak citizen (dual citizenship with Slovakia allowed in specific cases)
- No permanent/temporary residence in Slovakia since Jan 1, 2020 (some exceptions apply)
- No prior studies in Slovakia (except short-term mobilities or if applying at master’s level after prior RRP scholarship)
