If you are struggling with a lower GPA in your academic results, this content is here to guide you. In this context, I will tell you what your next step should be.
Understanding Your Profile Status:
Your profile for applying for a university or scholarship should be a package of your previous studies, your skills and experiences, and some of the requirements they want from you. Generally, a decent CGPA, English proficiency, other standardized tests like SAT, ACT, GRE, and GMAT, and Research skills and experiences constitute your higher study profile. Every component is essential for your profile and they all built your profile.
For Low CGPA:
If you are struggling with a low GPA, then the other components of your profile need to cover your lacking GPA. It means, your GPA lacking should be replaced by a good IELTS/ TOEFL or other standardized test scores or your research experience. For example, if you got a 2.75 GPA in your bachelor study but you are good at research and you have notable excellence and experience in this field, then it will cover your lack in GPA. A decent IELTS/ TOEFL and GRE/GMAT can be another example.
Tips:
GPA is important for your higher study profile and my recommendation is to increase your GPA as much as you can if you have time to work on it. But you have options if you are unable to achieve a good GPA. Then focus on achieving a decent score in IELTS/ TOEFL and GRE/GMAT and gather research experiences.
