Recipients must produce 1–2 policy papers, record a podcast, or give at least one presentation to the local research community.

Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi Foundation provides research grants, fellowships, and internships for doctoral students, academics, and professionals. The Grant covers all student expenses associated with their field research in the United Arab Emirates, including return airfares, furnished accommodation for up to 12 months, a stipend to cover living costs and research support.
