The ANSO Scholarship for Young Talents, established by the Alliance of International Science Organizations (ANSO), offers scholarships for international students to pursue Master’s and Ph.D. programs at the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC), the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS), or other institutes of Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) around China. CAS-ANSO Scholarship has two categories: degree program and non-degree program. CAS ANSO Scholarship degree program supports 100 to 200 Master’s students and 300 PhD students every year to pursue postgraduate education at the USTC, UCAS, and CAS around China. These fully funded scholarships for international students are a great opportunity to study in China.

- Master’s: Below 30 years (born after 1st January 1995 (inclusive);)
- Ph.D.: Below 35 years (1st January 1990 (inclusive);)
- Must meet admission requirements of USTC or UCAS
- Proficiency in English or Chinese
- ·Eligible applicants should NOT take up other assignments during the period of his/her scholarship.
- Students who are currently doing a master/doctoral degree at any university in China cannot apply for this master/PhD scholarship program.
- All awardees have to complete the centralized training in the Chinese language, Chinese culture, and all required credits.
- All awardees have to complete the practical research and degree thesis at colleges and schools of USTC/UCAS or CAS institutes.
