The Global Peace Forum 2025, organized by the Canadian Center for Cultural Diplomacy (CCCD), is set to take place in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, in May 2025. This international event aims to unite individuals from diverse backgrounds to explore the role of cultural diplomacy in conflict resolution and the promotion of global peace. Held in Canada, a nation known for its cultural diversity, the Global Peace Forum emphasizes inclusivity and mutual understanding.

The Cultural Diplomacy, Conflict Resolution & Global Peace Forum fosters global dialogue among professionals, students, and researchers in cultural diplomacy, peacebuilding, and conflict resolution. The application deadline is March 5, 2025, with selected participants announced on March 10, 2025.

5 Fully Funded Delegates will be selected to attend the Cultural Diplomacy,Conflict Resolution Global Peace Forum in person. Five fully funded participants will receive:

  • Round-trip airfare to Canada
  • Accommodation during the forum
  • Meals throughout the event

All selected participants will gain:

  • Access to all forum sessions
  • Opportunities to network with professionals and peers
  • A platform to share and develop ideas on cultural diplomacy and peace

Participants are responsible for:

  • Visa application fees
  • Travel insurance
  • Personal expenses
  • Open to all nationalities worldwide.
  • Age: 16 years and above.
  • English Proficiency: Intermediate level required for discussions.
  • Relevant Background: Interest or experience in:
    • Cultural diplomacy, conflict resolution, global peace
    • International relations, political science, sociology, cultural studies, anthropology, peace studies, and law
  • Professional Background: Open to students, researchers, activists, community leaders, and professionals.
  • Completed application form
  • Personal statement outlining motivation and relevant experience
  • Curriculum Vitae (CV)
  • Proof of English proficiency (if applicable)

  • Pay the application fee of 50 USD.

  1. Is there an application fee?Yes, there is a 50 USD application fee required during the submission process.
  2. Are travel expenses covered for all participants?Travel expenses are covered only for the five fully funded participants. Other participants need to arrange their own travel.
  3. Do I need to take an English proficiency test?While proof of English proficiency is required, specific tests like IELTS are not mandatory.
  4. Can I attend the forum online?Yes, the forum offers both in-person and online participation options.
  5. When will I know if I’ve been selected?Selected participants will be announced on March 10, 2025.
