HZB International Summer Student Program 2025 in Germany

The HZB International Summer Student Program 2025 is an exciting opportunity for undergraduate (Bachelor, Masters) students passionate about science and technology. Held in Berlin, this program offers hands-on experience in top-tier research facilities, enabling participants to work closely with leading scientists. Each summer HZB offers 20 undergraduate students an eight-week summer student programme. International students can get the chance to work on their research projects in close cooperation with HZB scientists in the fields of Photon Science, Photovoltaics, Solar Cells/Catalysis, Electrochemical Energy Storage, Quantum and Functional Materials, and Accelerator research.

HZB International Summer Student Program is a Fully Funded Eight-week Summer program in Berlin from July 7th to August 29th, 2025. HZB is a very international research institution with over 1200 employees. Through science and innovation, HZB strives to achieve a climate-neutral society. Participants gain access to cutting-edge labs and benefit from workshops and mentorship. Application deadline: The extended deadline for the application is 5 January 2025.

  • Candidates will remain enrolled at their university during their stay at HZB from July 7 to August 29, 2025.
