ICESCO Young Professionals Program (YPP) 2025: Morocco

The ICESCO Young Professionals Program (YPP) 2025 is a unique opportunity for young talents from diverse fields to work with the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO). ICESCO Young Professionals Program is an opportunity for young talents to spend 24 months of professional training at one of ICESCO’s Sectors, Departments, or Specialized Centers at the Organization’s Headquarters in Rabat, Kingdom of Morocco.

The ICESCO Young Professionals Program offers young professionals the chance to enhance their skills by undergoing professional training in ICESCO’s sectors, departments, or centers. The second edition of this program builds on its first edition’s success, which selected 13 participants from 10 ICESCO Member States out of 1,177 applicants. Some participants were hired by ICESCO after excelling in the program and gaining experience in international organizational work.

The ICESCO Young Professionals Program focuses on diverse and impactful study areas, aiming to build expertise and leadership in the following fields:

  • Cultural Heritage: Preservation, promotion, and management of cultural and historical assets.
  • Education Policy: Designing and implementing innovative education strategies for sustainable development.
  • Science and Technology: Advancing research and innovation to address global challenges.
  • Sustainable Development: Promoting environmental sustainability, renewable energy, and social equity.
  • International Relations: Strengthening diplomatic ties and fostering collaboration among member states.

  • Age: No older than 35 years old as of the date of the call for applications
  • Holder of at least a BA or equivalent in the fields of education, science, culture, and other fields pertinent to the work of ICESCO;
  • Be proficient in at least one of the Organization’s working languages (Arabic, English, or French) but preferably fluent in two languages
  • Candidates will sit for written exams and online interviews.

  • Transportation: $50–$100 (Public transport is affordable; taxis and car rentals are additional options)
  • Utilities: $50–$100 (Electricity, water, and internet)
  • Miscellaneous: $100–$200 (Entertainment, shopping, and personal care)

Young professionals aged 22–32 with a relevant degree and skills are eligible.

Yes, if you meet the other eligibility criteria and can commit to the program’s duration.

4. Does ICESCO assist with visa applications?
ICESCO may provide support letters, but visa arrangements are the candidate’s responsibility.

5. Can participants extend their tenure?
Extensions depend on performance and program requirements.
