The Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Scholarship 2024-25 is a fully funded program that supports students from member countries and Muslim communities in non-member countries. The Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) is offering four different scholarships, the IsDB Scholarship Programme for Muslim Communities in Non-Member Countries (SPMC), the IsDB  Merit Scholarship Programme for High Technology (MSP), the IsDB Master of Science Scholarship Programme (M.Sc.), and lastly, the IsDB-ISFD Scholarship Programme. These scholarships are life-changing opportunities for financially struggling students, students of IsDB member countries, and Muslim students to study in their own countries or other member countries without a financial hurdle. It offers financial support for undergraduate, master’s, PhD, and postdoctoral research programs to foster human capital development. The bank collaborates with international organizations such as the World Bank, the United Nations, and regional development banks to enhance its impact and reach globally.

The Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) is a multilateral development financial institution that was founded in 1975. Its headquarters is located in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The IsDB has 57 member countries, primarily from the Middle East, Africa, and Asia, with an emphasis on fostering collaboration among Muslim-majority nations. The bank’s primary mission is to promote economic development and social progress in its member countries following Islamic financial principles (Sharia law), focusing on cooperation and community well-being​.   • Must be from IsDB member countries or Muslim communities in non-member nations. Check
  • The age limit of each scholarship is different.
  • Candidates must have earned the last certificate/diploma from renowned institutes.
  • Candidates must have obtained a minimum 70% score in their previous degree.
  • And they must choose a major from the offered programs by IsDB.
  • Also, students applying for the IsDB Scholarship must provide English language proficiency certificates such as IELTS or TOEFL.
  • Candidates must provide all the documents translated into English or French.
  • Candidates must not be availing of any other scholarship or award during the entire IsDB Scholarship.
  • Must also provide medical health certificates and ensure their health.
  • Candidates applying for an undergraduate program must submit a high school certificate first. 
  • Students applying for the master’s program must hold a bachelor’s degree.
  • For PhD programs, candidates must submit attested bachelor’s and master’s degree certificates.
  • Register to the IsDB Alumni after graduation to network with other alumnus and keep updating the IsDB about their progress and achievements in their communities/countries.

  • Furthermore, candidates must provide correct information and required documents.

  • Health Insurance: Coverage for medical treatment at public or university hospitals.
  • Annual Allowances: Additional funds for clothing, books, and other essentials
