The scholarship does not cover:​

  • International travel expenses​
  • Medical insurance​
  • Visa application fees​
  • Age Limits:
    • Bachelor’s applicants: under 25
    • Master’s applicants: under 30
    • PhD applicants: under 40
  • Scholarship Renewal:
    • For Master’s & PhD: evaluated yearly
    • Amount may increase or decrease based on performance
  • Changing Majors (Bachelor’s):
    • Allowed only if you repay the first-year scholarship
  • Quitting JSU (Graduate Students):
    • Must repay the scholarship before leaving
  • Other Key Rules:
    • Cannot combine with other scholarships
    • Only for English-taught degree programs
    • 40% tuition discount for Chinese-taught programs
    • Final interpretation rights belong to JSU

    You may lose the scholarship if your GPA falls below the required threshold during the annual review.
