Kazakhstan Government Scholarships 2025 in Kazakhstan

The Kazakhstan Government Scholarships 2025 offer fully funded opportunities for international students to pursue Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD degrees at top Kazakhstani universities. With a generous offering of 490 scholarships for Bachelor’s students, 50 for Master’s students, and 10 for Ph.D. students, this program opens doors to a world-class education in a vibrant cultural setting.

The Kazakhstan Government Scholarships cover tuition fees and provide a monthly stipend. The scholarships are applicable to various higher education institutions across Kazakhstan. Applications are open from March 30 to May 31, 2025.

The Kazakhstan Government Scholarships cover diverse fields of study, including but not limited to:​

Recipients of the Kazakhstan Government Scholarships 2025 will receive:​

  • Full tuition fee coverage​
  • Monthly stipend to cover living expenses
  • Free university dormitory accommodation
  • Assistance with the visa and registration process

The scholarship does not cover:​

  • Travel expenses to and from Kazakhstan​
  • Health insurance
  • Each level of education is being pursued for the first time.
  • Minimum grade of “good” in the secondary education certificate.
  • Open to all applicants except citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

  • One letter of recommendation from the educational institution or employer in Kazakh, Russian, or English.

  • Do I need an English proficiency certificate if my previous education was in English?
    No, if your previous studies were conducted in the same language as the intended program, the certificate is not required.

    No, the scholarship does not include personal living costs, travel, or health insurance.
  • Can I apply if my transcripts are not in English, Kazakh, or Russian?
    Yes, but you must submit notarized translations of your documents in one of the accepted languages.
