Nanyang Scholarship (for Undergraduates

  • ● Full tuition fee waiver.
  • ● Living allowance of S$6,500 per academic year.
  • ● Accommodation allowance of up to S$2,000 per academic year (Applicable to scholarship holders who reside in NTU hostels only.)
  • ● A Grant of up to S$5,000 will be provided for travel.

  • The award provides support for up to 4 years of PhD studies including:

Nanyang Scholarship (for Undergraduates)

  • The scholarship holder must serve as a student ambassador or similar representative, participating in publicity talks, welcoming guests, and fulfilling related duties as needed.
  • The university will inform only shortlisted scholarship applicants via email within a month of the NTU program offer date.

Nanyang President’s Graduate Scholarship (NPGS)

  • There is no restriction as to the nationality of candidates.The university gives preference to Singapore Citizens and Singapore Permanent Residents.
  • You must have a Honours (Highest Distinction) or equivalent at the Bachelor’s level.
  • If you have not yet completed your undergraduate degree program, you will need to provide documentation from your university confirming that you are on track to earn an Honours (Highest Distinction) degree or its equivalent.

NTU Research Scholarship

  • The award is tenable for one (1) year in the first instance and is renewable subject to good progress. The maximum duration of the Scholarship is two (2) years for Master’s candidates and four (4) years for Ph.D. candidates, as determined by the school. Furthermore, this duration depends on the availability of research funding in each case.
  • To apply for a master’s program, a candidate must hold a Bachelor’s or an equivalent degree.
  • Similarly, if applying for a Ph.D. program, a candidate must possess a Master’s or equivalent degree.
  • You are eligible for this scholarship if you are a local or international student seeking full-time admission in a Graduate Research program at NTU.
  • You must have a minimum of Honours (Distinction) or its equivalent.
