- There is no restriction as to the nationality of candidates.The university gives preference to Singapore Citizens and Singapore Permanent Residents.

- The award is tenable for one (1) year in the first instance and is renewable subject to good progress. The maximum duration of the Scholarship is two (2) years for Master’s candidates and four (4) years for Ph.D. candidates, as determined by the school.
