Chinese-taught program

  1. Applicants must pass HSK Level 4 or above.
  2. Direct Entry: HSK Level 5 certificate with a score of 180 or above,
  3. Preparatory Study:
    • HSK Level 4 certificate with a score of 180 or above, you must complete a one-year Chinese language preparatory program.
    • To continue, you must pass HSK Level 5 with a score of 180 or above by the end of the preparatory year
  4. Exceptions: If you earned a degree from a Chinese university where Chinese was the medium of instruction, you don’t need to provide an HSK certificate. Submit an official letter/certificate from your university.

English-taught program

  1. Native English Speakers or applicants who completed a 2-year or longer degree program in English don’t need to provide an English certificate.
  2. Non-Native English Speakers must submit proof of English proficiency:
    • IELTS 6.0 
    • TOEFL 80 and above
