The UNESCO Poland Fellowship Program 2024-25 offers international students an opportunity to pursue specialized study and practical work in science, technology, engineering, and other disciplines.  The UNESCO Poland Fellowship Program is a Fully Funded cultural exchange program for All International Students with all expenses paid. Those Students who have Completed their Undergraduate Degrees are eligible to apply from Africa State, the Arab States, Asia & Pacific, Latin America & the Caribbean can apply. Hosted by Polish institutions, the fellowship is designed to support capacity building and sustainable development in UNESCO member states.

To promote human resource capacities in developing countries and enhance international understanding and friendship among nations and peoples, the Polish National Commission for UNESCO and the UNESCO Chair for Science, Technology, and Engineering at the AGH University of Krakow (Poland) are placed at the disposal of UNESCO thirty (30) fellowships for the benefit of several developing Member States. The application deadline typically falls in March each year (specific dates may vary).

  • Free tuition and access to the university facilities based on the local regulations.
  • Monthly allowance of 1800 PLN for BSc degree students and 2200 PLN for MSc degree students (1 USD = approximately 4 PLN)
  • One-time special pocket allowance of US$120 (one hundred and twenty US dollars). (UNESCO)
  • Accommodation: Assistance in securing accommodation
  • Health insurance for fellowship beneficiaries who are declared medically fit
  • A one-time special allowance of 1800 PLN for BSc degree students or 2200 PLN for MSc degree students to be paid upon arrival in Poland (for 6 6-month stay period). (Polish authorities)
